If you want to relax far from the hustle bustle and the maddening city crowd then this is the place  .... you would be surprise by the pindrop silence in the night and mornings full of chirping of birds. Based in Delhi, I hav been visiting Dwarson frequently as I am constructing a cottage nearby. Though i hav a ancestor house at Ranikhet, i wanted to stay nearby to my under construction cottage and after staying at various hotels and homestays at Majkhalli and Dwarson I finally zeroed down on this homestay and I hav really enjoyed my frequent stays here, recently from 24th to 25th Jan 2024. Homely atmosphere is a key to any homestay and 'Highlands' is full of it - starting from the entrance to the food. Talking of food - u get to eat what you decide and the cook cooks it in front of you, while you watch TV - it cannot be more homely !
I have really enjoyed eating spicy chicken & meat and yes  mutter paneer with hot chapatis.
The location is good - adjacent to a country road, 700 meters from NH 87. This meandering country road is metalled and though narrow is good for bigger cars also.
The 'Highlands' has 3 rooms and can accommodate 8 to 9 guests and it can be a great fun for a big family to book the entire cottage - what with the entire clan to gather around the bonfire in front of the cottage.
A bit of caution - 'Highland' is not for people looking for chandni chowk type of crowd as the serene surroundings and the calmness may not be of their likings.

Highland homestay offers a very comfortable and memorable experience in serene and pristine surroundings. Mornings are  calm and quite with the view of Himalayas through the sylvan environment and evenings can be spent star gazing a  perfect  getaway for nature lovers. Main kafi home stay m ruka hu bt unka name hi home stay hota h wo home wala feel ni ata ….. but yhan home wali feeling aayi m 3 din rha or pta bhi ni chala kb 3 din nikl gya kafi peaceful jgh hai .. agr koi idhar ghoomna chahta h to isse better kahin stay ni milega ..to please come  with your friends and family and hiking.. trekking and peaceful life
